The most neuron focused point in the eye is the fovea centralis or more simply, fovea. This is the are most responsible for sharp central vision. About 50% of the optic nerve endings are from the brina to this area in the eye.

Focusing the image is done through a combination of both the cornea and the lens. The eye has a power of about 60D. The cornea contributes around 40D to this power and the lens contributes around 20D. The cornea refracts light into the eye and the lens focuses it finely onto the retina.

human eye has many structuers which supports for vision.

The lens changes shape to accommodate the focus for distant and close objects.

Parts through which light passes as it enters the eye?

As light enters the eye, it passes through the cornea and the lens and is eventually focused onto the retina.

Your brain can build up a very clear image when light is focused onto the fovea. Eplai n why it can do this.?

Because the closer together the receptor cells are, the clearer the image the brain will get.

What job does the lens do in the eye?

It focuses the image by bending the light to strike the retina correctly. This is also called refraction. Interesting: Like a camera lens focuses light onto a piece of film with the image upside down, the image that is focused on our retina is also turned upside down. Our nerves from the eyes send the upside down picture to the brain and the brain knows to flip the image and perceive it right side up.

What is the nature of eye lens of human eye and that of the image formed at the retina of the eye by it?

our eye has convex lens which has got the power of converging image . so when the light fall on the convex lens the sensory nerve of our eye immediately send electrical impulse to the mind then the mind make the clear and virtual image .or say when convex lens converge the falling light , the convex lens have a focus point which is retina at where all the light rays focused and images is formed .

What part of your eye refracts light?

The retina which is where the image from the eye lens is focused. The retina is the reflective part of the eye. That's why cat's eye reflect so well, their retina are more exposed in the night because their pupils (or whatever they are in a cat) open wider than ours exposing more of that mirror at the back, the retina. Meeow!

What part of the eye is like the emulsion of a camera?

The emulsion on the film of a camera is where the image is focused and captured. In the eye that function is performed by the retina.

When your eye sees an object your brain breaks the image into which of these four parts?

When your eye sees and object the light , reflected from the object, enters the eye. There it is focused, converted into electrochemical signals, delivered to the brain and interpreted as an image.

Description of the image form in the eye?

If you could see the image projected onto the retina of the eye by the lens, it would be of the environment that the person in question is looking at, but upside down.

What is the part of the eye are necessary for seeing?

An eye is a complex structure and essentially all parts of the eye are required for vision to occur. However the part of the eye which detects the focused (by the lens) light image is the retina.

Why does the ocular lens adjust?

The ocular lense adjustment allows the image from the microscope to be precisely focused on the retina of the viewer's eye.

What part of the eye works similar to the shutter of a camera?

The emulsion on the film of a camera is where the image is focused and captured. In the eye that function is performed by the retina.

Explain in your own words how this simulates how the lens in the eye works?

A pinhole camera simulates how the lens in the eye works because it reflects an image onto an interior surface, such as the retina of the eye.

How do kingfishers cope with refraction when hunting fish?

The kingfisher solves this problem with a second fovea in each eye. Once the eyes are immersed in water, the image of the fish is focused on the second fovea in each eye. That means that there is stereoscopic visualization of the prey as it tries to dart away, an action that is usually not successful. But, in order to keep the image focused on both foveae, the lens has to be oval and the second fovea has to be in the periphery of the eye at the edge of the retina.
