The intake air temperature sensor for a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is on the intake tube in front of the throttle body. It looks like a small metal box.
were is the crankshaft sensor on 2005 mitsubishi lancer
Check on the cylinder head. Normally it has two wires.
it is located, or rather mounted on your air intake system. Whether the intake is an aftermarket part of oem the IAT sensor/connectors are usually on the manifold of the intake.
Between the Airbox (where your filter is), and where it enters the engine.
On my Lancer 2006, it's above the oil filter...
looks like the IAT I's still looking for it Christian
The "intake airflow temperature sensor" is actually the mass airflow sensor. It is located right behind the air filter box, it's the small piece of hard plastic tubing with the computer chip on top connected to the wires. To take it off, you disconnect the battery, unplug the computer chip, and unbolt it from the intake. If you want to clean it, buy some CRC Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) cleaner. Should cost about 6 bucks at pepboys. Then follow the directions on the can.

The intake air temperature sensor can be found on the top of the air intake manifold. The temperature sensor should be labeled as such.
on the intake manifold
The IAT (Intake Air Temperature) Sensor is a Two (2) Wire sensor located close to the intake.
