Under the seats
it has it's own tank drivers side panel in rear where jack is located. Will need a long neck funnel to fill it. I never use mine either.
The jack for a 2005 left hand drive (American) Suzuki XL.7 is located under the passenger side (right side of the vehicle) 2nd row seat.
In the trunk, at the right side, next to the jack.
The Jack is located underneath the rear bench seat on the drivers side. Open the rear side drivers door, and find the strap that removed the cusion, you will find the jack underneathe
In the boot under the carpet inside the spare wheel. Jack points are allocated under the arrows on the sill.

In the extended cab, it is located behind the jump seat on the passenger's side.
it is baffling and the manual doesn't make it much easier, but you turn the shaft of the jack counterclockwise and it will release itself. Good luck!
Jack up the front of the Vitara and remove the wheel. Unbolt the caliper and swing it out of the way, hang it with a piece of wire or coat hanger to keep pressure from the brake lines. If the rotor is the slide on type, just wiggle it to pull off. If it has the axle bearing race built in, then take off the axle nut, and slide the rotor off of the axle shaft.
