On the dashboard, drivers side. It's a little metal plate you can read right through the windshield. WRONG!! It`s on the driver`s door ,right next to the weather strip. Ford did that till 1980. If you don`t have one ,then someone changed the door or a new door was installed after an accident and no one changed over the vin. tag.

The VIN location for a 1975 Ford F-250 is on the driver's door frame. Looking toward the back of the truck, a person can see the VIN when the driver's side door is open. There is also a chance that the VIN for this vehicle is on the dash on the driver's side and can be read by looking through the windshield.

It's stamped on the rear corner brace just behind the brake light area inside the van. Open the rear door and look to the right. Right behind where the tail light assembly is you'll see a corner brace. Look closely, and you'll see it stamped there.

Cars of this era had no VIN#. They did however have a build plate. There was no standardized location for the plate. Normally it was under the hood on the firewall, but can be in another place. All I can tell you is to look for it.
