The Map sensor, (Subaru simply calls it a "pressure sensor") is located on the passenger side on the strut tower facing the Air cleaner.(US cars). The part itself has a 3 wire connector, and a single vacuum hose coming out of it. The part is about 1 1/2 inches wide and utilizes 2 mounting bolt holes. Take note that only "one" of these holes is used for mounting.
it should be right under the stearing wheel. . . that is where mine is in my 1995 Subaru wagon.
I would like to know how to fix my 1995 subaru legacy wagon 5 speed manua transmission, or if anyone knows or have the electrical wiring and electrical diagram for 1995 subaru legacy 5 speed manua transmission ? Thanks
There is no such thing as a 1995 subaru outback, the outback package was not offered on a subaru legacy until 1996, you either have a 1996 subaru outback, or you have a 1995 subaru Legacy L or LSI wagon. Both will be covered in most guide books you can pick up at your local autoparts store.
If a bolt is stripped on the windshield wiper on a 1995 Subaru Legacy Wagon, there are two options. A person can go to a salvage yard and purchase new wipers for the vehicle, or they can have the bolt hole tapped for a larger bolt.
it will not fit. way different
My '95 Subaru Legacy Wagon averages between 23 - 24 mpg in mixed driving. Pure highway, I push 28. HOPE THIS HELPS.

I own a 95 Legacy wagon and when my fuel light comes on and I fill it up I usualy have about 4 gal left in the tank cause it takes me about 11.5 gal to fill it. I have been getting about 20 mpg around town.
The IAT is located in the air intake duct. First, find the intake air hose, and then follow that to the sensor, which should be located with the mass air flow sensor if it is double?æoverhead cam engine.
From 1995 to 1999.....
I have no clue, but it sounds tricky
Will fit Legacy/Outback Model Year 1995 to 1999.
A flashing CEL means a serious problem, not just a warning. Get it read asap. You might not even want to drive it there.
The most common fault with any blower motors not working is usally the resistor switch which is located in the heater box its self. Richard @ Allander motors
I believe they only made the 2.0tt in 1995
AnswerIf it has a governor it is part of the ECM and it watches the vehicle speed sensor and will cut-off fuel and spark at a level determined by OEM.
More likely u-joints if only when shaft turns.
Inside the fuel tank, To get to the fuel pump you must remove the back seat on the sedan or if it is a wagon remove the carpet on the back floor-same on a sedan, There will be an oval plate- remove it , The fuel pump is right there.
