On the firewall on the right side. if the car is 3.3l v6 then the car doesn't have a map sensor but it does have a mass air flow sensor the code is the same for both of them only a 2.3 has the map sensor so don't be fooled by this by code 34 the chilton book is very helpful
The IAT sensor is located on the intake manifold air cleaning housing or air duct.
There's a different question here with a good answer. (Search for spark plugs on a 93 Buick Century.) Briefly, there are three on the front of the engine (near the cylinders themselves), and three more in back.
Hondas used only a map sensor back in the 90s in place of a maf/map combo. The map sensor can be found on top of the throttle body and should be branded "Denso". The sensor coveres about 2" and is usually black.
Just below the hose attached to the throttle body
the tire size for my 93 is 195-75-r14
You coolant level sensor has stopped working, my 93 olds regency is doing the same thing. You will need to goto the a Buick/GM dealership to get the part, it plugs into the side of the radiator.
The MAP sensor on my 93 Honda Accord is located in the emission control box mounted, on firewall near fuse box...
Swap it with another like relay.
Drop the fuel tank and remove it from the top of the rear part of the tank.
Its by the fire wall , right below the map sensor, be careful you will crack the hose.
www. motorcraft. com (no spaces) does not list a MAP sensor for any of the available engines in a 1993 Ranger . It lists AIR MASS SENSOR for each engine , I'm assuming that is the MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR which should be mounted near the air filter housing
IIRC It is a 38mm Nut. Buts its been a while so i may be wrong.
jegs.com has a kit for 20 bux with with diagrams and but u will need a 97 camaro z 28 or ss map sensor
always look in your owners manual. but I've driven and maintained a 90 91 93 buick century. if 6 cylinder i would suggest 4.4 litres or oil and change the oil filter at every oil change.
The plastic piece that cover the speakers and vent just oulls off and sets back in there when you are done
If they are good batteries fully charged when installed and connected in parellel, yes it should handle them.
That happened with my 93 buick century... And it was the fuel pump, maybe you should check that
where do the thermostat go in my 93 buick lesabre
There are 3 at the front of the engine and 3 at the rear of the engine, just follow the spark plug wires.
It actually could be some type of sensor such as the o2 sensor. Having a fried sensor can actually send mixed signals to your ecu which will make the car die or shut off.
No, you might have a bad map sensor, disconnect and try starting the car. The map sensor is located above the power steering pump, attached to the fire wall. With one connector and a hose. F. Garay
The four way hazard flasher is on the base of the steering column. You push in the middle button to turn them on, and pull the ring to turn them off.
I just did this the other day. When you take the cover off the engine in the cab look up on the top of engine. Look for a small rectangle with 2 screws on either end. That's the map sensor. Remove the 2 screws and it out. Simple.
