Where is the blower motor resistor on a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Its on the passenger side underneath the dash. Take off the kick panel that's right below the glove compartment (2 screws you can see underneath, 2 you have to take off the glove compartment door to get to). Once you get that off, its really easy to see. There are 2 bolts (size about 7mm) holding it in and a locking clip with the 4 blower swith wires coming out.

The blower motor resistor block is located on the underside of the HVAC housing (Heater Box) next to the blower motor. The blower motor is located at the right side of the dashboard. You can access the blower motor resistor block from under the dashboard. A Word of Caution! Stay clear of the blower motor resistor block heat sink - It could be Hot. Incidentally, I have read about people working on their dashboards and setting off the airbag. It is a good thing to disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery and make sure that it can not touch the battery post. Wait at least a couple of minutes for the airbag system to discharge.

Try on top of the blower motor behind the glove box

The resistor is to the left of the blower, it is very hard to get to. You'll have to almost stand on your head to change it.

Underneath the blower motor once you remove it it should be atachech with 3 screws near the upper lining

I believe you will find the blower motor speed resister inside, under the dash, on the passenger side, above the passengers foot area, very close to the blower motor.

Over the passenger side strut tower. If you look over the strut you will see the connecter sticking out of the firewall.
