I'm not a mechanic / technician , but a 1994 Ford Aerostar is OBD I , EEC IV
so there should be an EEC TEST connection in the engine compartment
The 1994 5.0L ford Mustang and 3.8L Ford Mustang used the OBD-II connector under the drivers dash. These were the first OBD-II Ford cars. They are NOT OBD-I.

It is OBD 1 not OBD 2. The connecter is under the hood, inner fender.
