ON the rear bottom/side of the oil pan(under the truck), don't confuse it with the transmission drain if auto.

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 5.3L V8...and I just changed my oil and found the drain plug on the opposite side of where the Oil Filter is. The plug is a 13MM.
It doesn't have a drain plug, you have to remove the oil pan to drain.

There is a plastic plug on the drivers side or the radiator, near the bottom. If you remove the top shroud you will see it with a good light.
It does not have a drain plug. You need to remove trans pan to drain.
dodge didn't include a drain plug on those transmissions
