You have to jack the car up, its towards the left of the car pointing diagonally down. Its easiest to get off if you get a tool to do it, its really tough to turn if you have oil on your hands and in that position. Jack the car up and you should see it towards the left side (right side while you're underneath it) of the car.

The fuel filter is attached to a bracket located on the drivers side of the engine compartment. Look down in the space between the master cylinder fluid reservoir and the rear of the air filter compartment, you will be looking at the top of the fuel filter cannister. It's hard to get at.
