When you look from above in the engine compartment, look behind the motor and slightly to the left. If you look real hard you'll see a blue part that kinda looks like a plastic cup. That's your oil filter. It might not be blue though, if the oil filter has been changed before. It might be orange.
When I change my oil, I usually turn the wheels to the left and I can access the filter through the passenger side wheel well.
4 quarts to change the engine oil 5.4 quarts in an RSX-S with an oil filter change
It means it's time to change the oil.
It is located at the back of the motor closer to the passenger side.
For 2002-2006 Acura RSX, the recommended motor oil types are: For type S models: 5W30 (requires 5 quarts) For NON type S models: 5W20 (requires 4.5 quarts)
5 quarts of oil
You are going to want to get a full synthetic blend for your 2006 Acura RSX. They take a better oil in order to make the car last longer than a car that takes regular oil.

3000 miles if using regular oil, 6000 if using synthetic. I use synthetic for my RSX-S, but regular would do for a base model.
If You use regular oil very 3,000 miles with synthetic every 6,000 miles
where is the oil filter located on an 2002 GMC Envoy
For b18b1 it's next to the oil filter, on the left of the oil filter when sitting in the car
Its on the oil filter adapter housing and hard to get to.
Where is the oil filtet located on a 92 honda
I can't say for certain about an Acura, because I've never had one, but usually they are inside the transmission. You have to pull off the bottom plate, usually called the transmission oil pan. Be ready for it to dribble out all of your transmission fluid. The filter should then be easily accesible from there. ======= The 2002 Acura TL automatic transmission DOES NOT HAVE a filter! Regular maintenance - completely draining and replacing the automatic transmission fluid at prescribed intervals - is all that needs to be done. Make sure to do this!!! Because - and I repeat - the 2002 Acura TL automatic transmission DOES NOT HAVE a filter. It Does have a filter, it is below the Air Filter housing, it's a small black Metal filter. There is a plate that covers it or a good part of it. Looks like a small motorcycle oil filter.
fram oil filter is 3387a
4.5 quarts if you are also replacing the oil filter.
Sounds like oil filter is the least of your problems
You need to be more specific on what model of Acura you are referring to. The engine size would also help. It's sort of like asking where is the oil filter on a 95 Honda..........Honda..........what?
4.5 quart of oil
