I have a 94 e150 w/351 or 5.8 liter and the sending unit is found on the lower right front of the engine facing the engine.

On the 4.0 L OHV engine, it is located on the driver's side of the engine below the power steering pump. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the 4.0 liter SOHC engine I believe the oil pressure sending unit is on the front of the engine near the lower radiator hose area
The switch is screwed into an oil filter adapter located at the oil filter. You will recognize it by the wiring on it.
I believe the sending unit for the oil pressure gauge on a 4.0 L OHV engine is located on the drivers side of the engine below the power steering pump
