It is usually located next to the oil filter.

Above the oil filter.
The oil sending unit on a 5.4 liter Ford is located along the side of the engine. It constantly monitors the flow rate and pressure of the oil.
Behind the A/C compressor on the engine block. 3.0 liter engine
Threaded into the block behind the intake manifold near the firewall.
On the 4.0 liter OHV engine , it's on the drivers side of the engine , below the power steering pump
Remove the oil pressure sending unit retaining ring. Remove the wiring harness from the sending unit. Poll the sending unit out of the engine.
It is in the top back right side of the engine block. you will have to lean up over the engine to see it.
The 1994 Ford F3 50 pickup truck 7.3 liter engine oil pressure sending unit can be found on the left-hand side of the engine. The oil pressure sending unit will be near the front of the engine.
The oil sending unit on the 2.4 liter is behind the power steering on the driver side and just above the water outlet

It is back by the Distributor, but to the right of it.
