I'm not a mechanic / technician but I believe the oil pressure sending unit on
the Ford 4.0 liter SOHC , V6 engine is on the front of the engine . In the
area where the lower radiator hose connects to the water pump
It is located inside the bell housing.
I was looking on fordparts.com at the 2004 Ford Ranger with the 3.0 liter V6 engine and it doesn't list an EGR valve for the 3.0 liter like it does for the 4.0 or 2.3 liter
The 2004 Dodge 5.7 liter engine temperature sending unit is located on the front of the engine. The temperature sending unit is just above the thermostat housing.
