If you problem is that the gauge shows oil pressure with the engine off, you have a gauge or sending unit failure.
In most cases it's the sending unit in the gas tank at fault. It would require dropping the gas tank to replace the sending unit.
check the gauges, disconnect the sending unit wires and see if the gauges go up, if not it is the gauges, make sure the key is on
The unit is at the front of the engine near the oil filler neck. Its a little cylinder with an electrical connection at one end and a pipe into the engine at the other.
