the output speed sensor is the one on the transmission for the PCM and speedometer..it has a cable and a set of wires coming off of it..i think it is on the right side of the tranny near the output shaft
Trans output speed sensor.
The vehicle speed signal comes from the transmission computer via the output speed sensor. The output speed sensor is on the front, driver side of the transmission case.
speed sensor is located at top of rear differential
The transmission computer takes the output speed sensor signal and sends it to the cluster for the speedometer reading. The output speed sensor is a likely cause. The transmission computer takes the output speed sensor signal and sends it to the cluster for the speedometer reading. only 97 and earlier models have speed sensors
The vehicle speed sensor will be located above the transmission output shaft.

The output speed sensor is located on the back end of the transmission. The vehicle speed signal comes from the abs sensor on the top of the rear axle.
The abs wheel speed sensors are at each wheel bearing. The transmission has an input and output speed sensor mounted on the front of the transmission case. The vehicle speed signal comes from the transmission computer via the output speed sensor.
Located on the rear axle housing and held by a mounting bolt.
Around 1 hour
It is on the driver side of the transmission tail housing. It is a two wire sensor.
