Like most cars. The heater control valve is located inside the closed compartment with the heater core and the and the AC condenser. It is a door flap that seperates the heated air from the outside air, or the AC air.
Not knowing what engine you have in your Olds, most engines will have the "Mapping" of the belt located somewhere under the hood. On my two Olds, they are located on the valve cover. When you purchase a new belt for your car the cardboard holder for the belt will display several diagrams based upon the engine that the belt will fit..... you out.
Under the "sight shield," the plastic engine cover. Remove the two black 13mm nuts, then unhook from the clip on the rear valve cover. The PCV valve is located in the front valve cover, on the transmission end of the motor, opposite the oil filler cap. Check out this picture: 99intrigue.shutterfly.com/headgasket/97#103
Yes, in the transmission.
remove engine cover. locate AIR MASS unit ( unit where fuel enters your engine-- -drivers side where air also flows into engine) the EGR valve is located right in front of AIR MASS unit. good luck
It should be located on the solid gas lines in the engine compartment. The valve looks like the one to put air in your tire. There should also be 2 yellow tags next to the valve. If there is pressure on the lines gas will flow from the valve when you push the stem. If nothing comes out turn the key to the on position and then off a couple of times to allow the fuel pump to pressurize the system and then press valve again but be careful of the escaping gas from the valve.
I located mine on drivers side under car right before rear tire it's a 1989.
After removing an EGR valve from the vehicle, the valve can be flushed with carburetor cleaner. If the valve still sticks then a replacement will be needed.
