This is an easy one. There is no power window relay(s) in the Dakota. The control switches themselves act as a relay of sorts, making the necessary polarity switching as necessary to raise or lower a window.
When I saw three wires per switch I also thought there must be relays somewhere. Disassembling a switch it became clear there was no need for any relays.
