It is in the cave that is right to the petpetorium it will appear purple but in your inventory it will be black because you really wouldn't see a black worm in-front of a black cave entrance would you. :)

∙ 13y agoTo get a glow worm you go to Moltara and if you see a glowing worm click on it and you should get it in your inventory. But first you have to get the lantern from lampwycks lights fantastic so you can catch them . There are ten worms in all, and once you have all ten and the lamp, you can go into dark cave.

What do you do with the worm in Neopets?
You use the worms with the lantern you get from lampwyck's Light Fantastic. Once you get all the worms(red,orange,yellow,green,blue,purple,rainbow,white,and black) combin them with the lantern. Now you can use the lantern in the dark cave in moltara caves.
