what size thread is the oil switch sensor in a range rover 1994 4.2 v8
type f auto-trans fluid
Where is the vehicle speed sensor pick up located in a 1994 Pontiac Trans Port?
the TPS (throttle position sensor) controls the idle.
Depending on the year trans, transfer case, axle..... 1994
yes it has a speed sensor near the end of the tailshaft of the trans.
It is in the rubber snoot that comes off the TB
of depending on the transmission if you have the 4 spd electronic automatic trans there are two, an output sensor which is located under the battery box on the left side of the shift linkage and the input sensor is right under the trans cooling lines right of the shift linkages! if you have a non electronic trans, the speed sensor is located on the backside of the trans and has three wires and atached to the tranny with a single bolt! hope this helps
The speed sensor is located on the top of the trans-axle just behind the shift linkage. it screws into the trans-axle. it usually takes a wrench, about a 3/4 to a 7/8, normally.
its a air temperature sensor it should be around your intake i don't know where on your car but mine was right under my trottle body next to my water temperature sensor
somewhere on the trans in the front or back. It should have an electrical plug connected to it.
On the bottom of the tranny catch pan. You will have to remove the gasket seal with 12 screws then the filter is right there.
1st generation is a basic Ford Probe. 2nd generation usually the GT or GTS, is the Mazda 626 (same eng. & trans.)-CE ***GREAT link - www.PROBEADDICTION.com -CE
it is behind the air filter box, before the curved duct that carries air to the throttle body.
it doesn't have one it is electric uses a vehicle speed sensor on rear of trans.
Yessir, it will.
Transmission could be adversly effected. Shifting problems can occur and worse case the transmission can be permantly damaged.
THE SWITCH IS ON THE TRANSMISSION IT IS CALED A TRANS RANGE SWITCH TR SWITCH IT IS MOUNTED ON THE SIDE OF THE TRANS WHERE THE LEVER THAT SHIFTS THE TRANS YOU NEED TO REMOVE THAT LEVER I THINK THE TRANS NEEDS TO BE IN NETERAL THE PART WILL HAVE INST WITH IT HOPE THIS HELPS
I think I answered this already, but it is behind the air filter box, before the curved duct that carries air to the throttle body.
Just FYI it uses GL4 75W-90 Gear Oil. Called Ford Dealer up to get answer since no one here seemed to know.
It should be on the rear tailhousing of the transmission.
My 1994 Trans Am does, it will go up to 110. I found out that the top speed of a 1994 Firebird or Trans Am is 156 mph.
In the fuse box, under the hood, behind the battery. It will be a green relay. Maybe this will help : http://mysree.wordpress.com/2007/12/11/fuse-diagrams-and-specs-for-1994-ford-probe-gt-v6/
