Like many CDMA (Sprint and Verizon) phones, the Motorola RAZR v3 - and probably other RAZR phones - HAS NO SIM CARD. It does have a micro-SD card, which extends the phone's memory for camera/video applications, and on-line how-tos frequently confuse the two. The RAZR v3 has no internal SIM card, and attempting to disassemble the phone to extract it will likely destroy the phone.
Some newer phones have a CDMA Subscriber Identity Module (CSIM) card which enables SIM portability on CDMA networks.
What service provider is the Razr on?
If it's Verizon, US Cellular, Sprint, or Alltel (as well as a few other providers) there is no SIM card.
AT&T and T-Mobile (as well as a few other providers) use SIM cards.. if one of those providers is the case, then the SIM card is below the battery when you pull the back cover off.
There is no mention in the user manual of a SD card slot. However, looking at the diagram on page 13 of the PDF file (see related link) - it looks like there's a slot next to the SIM card slot under the battery.
you cant the razor has a card bilt into Its in the contacts section, under manage my contacts. The SIM is NOT built into the phone.
Yes if you have your contacts on your SIM card then it will not save voice names.
There is no sim card in Verizon, Sprint, or Alltel phones. The reason is that they operate on CDMA technology which does not require sim cards.
The SIM card goes in the SIM card slot that can be seen after you remove a battery in the Motorola v66e.
A sim card located on Motorola mobile under the battery
SIM card is usually accessable under the battery. Remove the battery and there you should see the card. I am not familiar with either phone but that is generally how it is done But Verizon does not have sim's cards. Y-THINK-Y
where is the sim card location in a motorola w315 wireless phone?
The SIM card is located on the back of a Motorola bk70. If you take the back cover off, you will see the SIM card towards the bottom of the phone.
you cant, the phone has a security features that makes the sim fry itself like a self destruction deal, its there just in case someone gets a hold of your phone and trys to take your sim information. its stupid and it happend to me but i called my provider and gave me one free of charge
No reason why not - the old SIM card should still work.
The Motorola i930 does indeed have a SIM card. Motorola recommends a 128KB SIM card for the needed information. Several carriers feature this phone including Nextel.
