Where is the starter on a 1991 GMC Suburban?

the starter is located on the passenger (right) side of the vehicle, between the engine and the transmission. it has a battery cable on it so disconnect the battery before removal.. typically the colors are, a black motor with gold colored bolts and backing plate and an aluminum housing that attaches it tho the engine/trans.. there are only two (2) bolts holding it on... What seems to be the problem? DAve

If this is an 80's model, it should be rather simple. The starter will be underneath the passenger side. After you find it, just remove the cables to it and the two bolts securing it to the block and it should slide out towards the rear of the car.
