The 1997 Chrysler Sebring radio amplifier does have an in-line fuse. The in-line fuse will be in the radio wiring harness.
Chrysler vehicles are not equipped with an inertia switch.
replace door latch
Above the oil filter

No, it does not have a cabin filter. No, it does not have a cabin filter.
Just tried to find a fan shroud for a 98 Sebring Convertible and found that only fit from 1996 to 2000 models. Possibly the motors were also specific to those model years. Nothing in the jjunkyard event came close. Had to order from the dealer.
use the your factory issued key in the door lock. if it came with a grey covered key its gonna cost you some money to replace, if not you can go to your Chrysler dealer and get a new one for free if you havent changed your door locks and starter key from the originals.
fan relay or thermostat
the battery is in the fender well. You nee to take tire off and remove part of the fender well to access the battery.
Is the motor getting power? is the regulator working? The rear windows will not go all the way down. It is a child protection thing. They will only roll down half way.
On the driverside frame rail.. under the rear door on a sedan.. or under the quarter window on a conv
I changed the wife's on her 1997 Seabring JXI Conv. Had to drop gas tank down a bit.(loosen straps.) the filter is on the to rear of the tank. The fuel filter for LXi is located inline beneath the passenger compartment and is not easily accessible. I would also suggest checking your VIN to determine the proper fuel filter needed as there is a significant price difference both for the filter AND any labor if you hire a mechanic to change it out.
Exactly what it came with from the factory. Yup, yup. You need to use the same engine that came out of a JXI. The coupe and convertables are 2 totally different cars. The LXI is considered to be the coupe, and they have a Mitsubishi engine in them, while the convertable have a Chrysler engine in it.
You need a 90 degree socket screwdriver set, a very small one. Got mine from sears for $15.
I had the same on an '04 Sebring Conv. 2.7L.I found the unit (with a mechanic friend's help) on the backside of the engine. It is right in the center of the engine towards the bottom. Sorry if that's a bit cryptic... If I remember right, you will need deep socket to get the unit out.
Are you sure the fuel gauge is not the problem, maybe the tank is empty and the gauge is in error. If not get the fuel pump checked out, it is in the fuel tank and may have a broken pickup (in tank filter).
a bad fuel pressure regulator may also give you low fuel presure , if is stuck open it would not allow the system to build up pressure.
Take it to the dealership, its a safety issue and is better left to the dealership to fix because if it isn't fixed right it is very dangerous for obvious reasons
your gonna need a m8... a jack and maybe some stands.. door on the conv is heavy.. remove the hinge bolts or knockout the hinge pins.. .. tis not rocket surgey..
with 11" conv. = 11 Quartswith out conv = 8 quarts
