Trace your top radiator hose to the engine. Where it stops is your thermostat housing. It should be under the distributor. It has 2 10mm size nuts that have to come off, then you can remove the housing and pry the old thermostat out. Of course you have to drain some of the anti-freeze out before you begin and you'll need to disconnect the top hose from the thermostat housing. It only takes about 20-30 minutes to do this little job.
The thermostat on a 1995 Geo Prizm LSI 1.8 liters is located at the end of the rad hose. Follow the rad hose connected to the engine.?æ
There are a few fuse boxes located on a 1993 Geo Prizm. The main fuse boxes are located under the driver side dash on in the engine compartment.
On the radiator you have a top hose and a bottom hose. Look at the bottom hose and follow it to where it attaches to the block. Unscrew the two bolts. There is the thermostat.
