Thru the transmission dip stick. use a funnel to get the fluid into the dipstick tube and check to make sure you do not overfill.
4.6 L engine. Do you mean how do you check the fluid? Hood open, passenger side, between the back of the engine and fire wall, theres the dip stick.
Look for the dip stick under the hood, passenger side, right between the engine and the fire wall. well hidden.
The dip stick is located on the passenger side of the engine and to the rear of the engine. You also add fluid to this same tube if it is low. Check fluid car in park and running. Do not overfill so add a little at a time.
The transmission dip stick is located near the oil dip stick. This is in a 1962 Catalina.
Next to the battery
Its a sealed transmission so there is no dipstick.
it's usually located right on top of the transmission. if not, you probably have a manual tranny, which don't have a dip stick.
