Im not 100% sure but I think you need a small funnel. Fill it through the dip stick tube. I have used that method on my 92 legacy 2.2 awd. I couldn't find any other way to do it. Hope that helps.

Where do you add Transmission fluid on a 1992 Nissan Sentra?

For a Nissan Sentra with a manual transmission, the transmission has two plugs . One is a filler plug, which is on its side near the front driver-side tire and clutch cable, and the other is a drain plug, which is at the bottom of the transmission. To add fluid, take off the filler plug and add fluid (most likely 4-GL). REMINDER: if you plan to replace the old transmission fluid, make sure you can remove the filler plug before you drain the transmission.

How do you change the transmission oil in a Subaru Impreza?

I assume that you are referring to a manual transmission as you said oil and not fluid. On the side of the transmission, 1/2 way up, you should see a fill plug. Remove it and insert your little finger to the first joint. If you touch fluid or it runs out then it is ok. If not then fill to the edge.
