The dipstick tube is approximately 1" in diameter and has a red handle. The "resevoir" is the transmission pan located underneith the transmission under the car. Hope this helps. "G"
The reservoir is inside the transmission. The fluid is stored in the pan underneath the transmission.

It is a very difficult task, but it can be done. On the transmission itself, close to the back of the filter and pan, there is a check plug. This plug, when opened, should be filled to just overflowing. 1. Jack your vehicle up or raise it on a lift, but it needs to be level so the fluids are level as well. 2. Open the check plug on the transmission. 3. Start your engine and shift the transmission into neutral. The transmission fluid should be at the level of the opened check plug. 4. If the fluid is lower than the check plug, or no fluid drips out, fill the transmission fluid until it just seeps out. There is no dipstick, but there is a cap to fill transmission fluid accessible from under the hood. It is located on the right side of the engine bay between the power steering pump and the intake box. Don't wait until the sensor goes off to check/replace transmission fluid. The transmission plug can be reached down from the top of the engine forward of the brake fluid reservoir. Wear a pair of mechanics gloves, it's hot.
