try ebay, search 1985 300zx for the Nissan Service Manual, I have the 1986 manual , it contains the wiring diagram

You should put 3 quarts of oil in your 1986 300zx Turbo and then let it run for 30 seconds. After that, check the oil level and fill it until the oil on the dipstick is level with the H.

subject yourself to weeks of torture. buy a turbo z instead if you've got an aftermarket turbo, put it on a already turbo'd car.

There is no 1986 280zx. If it's a 1986 300zx then yes, but if you don't know enough about your car to know what model it is, you probably shouldn't be turboing it.

If you are looking at the engine look to the left of the engine. Your fuel filter is connected to the frame with a strap.

For regular non turbo timing is 20 degrees BTC.........For turbo it is 15 Degrees BTC

my 1993 twin turbo 300zx originally retailed for 55k brand new. my 1991 non turbo retailed for 38k

The stock 300zx turbo came with 200 horsepower from the factory. The non turbo only had 180. -Haynes

if the turbo isn't working its blown. dummy.

If they are both non-turbo or turbo, (meaning 4 or 5 lug) than it should work.

The replacement coil part#s are the same, from the store... so yes.

the only thing different would the internals of the trans the turbo trans is a heavy duty trans.

you stick it in and it works the same.

I had an 84 turbo that I had up to 145.

I think it has 222hp for the non turbo.

The Nissan shop manual has a complete wiring diagram, they can be found on e-bay.

About 125-130 mph in the stock configuration, turbo model, assuming you have stock 16" wheels, too.
