The flasher relay (or turn signal relay) is located on a metal flange that is attached to the clutch pedal stop. Should be in the same area for automatics. It is accessible from underneath, requires no tool and slides off the metal tabs to your left as you are sitting in the driver's seat. Remounting the new relay was a bit awkward but took no more than 5 mins to replace, once located. 1997 Nissan Pickup XE 2WD. Nissan Part Number 25731-1M200 (as of Sept. 26, 2011)
