Front seating area, behind steering column cover, on left hand side of steering column. I bought a replacement flasher at pepboys(part # EP27) It din't work in my ranger. So I bought another at the Ford dealer and this works. The flasher looks like a relay( ).the OEM flasher usually is blue.

the turn signal flasher and the hazard flasher are located in a small canister shaped unit located in the wiring harness under the dash near the steering column. in all Isuzu trucks from 81'-93'

There is no flasher can. There is a relay at the lower left in the fuse panel on the side of the dash. There is one relay that serves both hazard and turn.

on a 1989 Isuzu pickup you need to take out the left speakerto get to the signal and hazard light flasher ..The control box for the flashers and turn indicators is all contained within the steering column. Not the easiest to get to.
