Where is the vacuum hose on a 1989 ford ranger?
This should have a couple vacuum hoses. The main ones will be
located ontop of the valve cover connected to a pcv valve. This
should go the air box. This gives fresh air for the lifters and
valves. There is another that should go to your map sensor that
will be bolted to the firewall. There will be another that goes to
the EGR unit. It is circular with another circle shape inside of
it. It is usually toward the back top of the engine also. They are
all smaller in diameter than the cooling hoses and heater hoses. If
it is four wheel drive then you should have one going to the front
axle as well. Hope this helps.
