Where is yoga from?

Yoga is an ancient art that goes back 5,000 years... meant for achieving union, harmony and happiness-harmony with our own bodies and minds, harmony with other living beings, harmony with our environment and ultimately, harmony and happiness through union with the Supreme.

Yoga asanas, breathing techniques and so on, are just a small part of the complete process of yoga. Practicing these techniques can help you achieve a state of being that is conducive to the higher pursuits of the yoga system, such as meditation and self-realization.
