Where on the distributor cap does number 1 spark plug wire go on a 1994 van G20 electric distrubtur 350 Chevy?
It depends on whether the distributor has been replaced or removed, and whether they put it back the same way. In any case, #1 is wherever the rotor is pointing when #1 is at TDC of compression cycle.
The distributor cap order for a Chevy 283 varies depending on the year of the motor. A 1975 to 1991 has the number one cylinder at the top just to the left of center. Need to replace ingnition module in the distributor. First check coil and coil wire, And when your in the distributor make sure you check the two electric wires that go to the pick-up coil in the center of the distributor, make sure there not broken ( PULL ON THEM A LITTLE ) Need to check these things first.
