I think you should keep your pet grasshopper in a jar or container with holes poked in the lid, dirt in the bottom of the cage, and grass and/or leaves for the grasshopper to eat. Make sure you spray the leaves with water in a spray container, so the grasshopper will have something to drink. When he sheds his skin, clean it out of the cage, and make sure you clean the cage once a week, at the least. That is where you should keep a pet grasshopper, and how to make it comfortable in it's new home!

∙ 12y agoKeep it in a jar with a lid, poke some air holes, put in some grass, a leaf with a small drop of water, a twig and the grasshopper. They are okay to keep as pets. Nope. Not against the law to own them! :) hope this helps you out.
