it is attached to the rear differential. only sensor on it. reads the gear inside.
There is no input speed sensor. The output sensor is located on the driver side rear of the auto trans case.

The temp sensor is part of the overdrive solenoid inside the transmission, on the valvebody.
It is on the top center of the rear axle.

On the 98 there are two in the front, one on each wheel and the rear might have one in the pumpkin. The one in the top of the rear axle is the main speed sensor, the front sensors are only there if it has 4 wheel abs. The vehicle speed sensor is located on the top of the rear axle.
It is the 2 wire sensor next to where the trans dipstick tube goes into the case.
You need to have the abs checked for codes. You might have a failed rear axle speed sensor.
