that would be Tennessee. However, this was Cost of Living data, and doesn't give an indication of what incomes may be per state. So, while it might give an indication of where one might be able to retire affordably, it wouldn't give you an indication of the difference between income and costs.

Most people say America but let's be real it looks nice in the photos and everything but it can be total hell with crack addicts, lots of poverty, you have to pay for healthcare etc. I've lived in the U.S for 7 years so not the best place. So in my opinion a European country would honestly be the best.
