Moses was a Hebrew. He was said to be the deliverer and he was. He sent the Hebrew's out of Egypt!
I want to know too!! I read one link (http://peebles.wordpress.com/2008/08/16/exodus-182-niv-%e2%80%9cmoses-had-sent-away-his-wife-zipporah-his-father-in-law-jethro-received-her%e2%80%9d/) .Originally in Ex 18:2 it mentions the wife being sent away and Jethro took her. It is implied that it may have been that Moses was overwhelmed or too busy with leading Israel. However in 18:5 it says that Jethro visited Moses again and he encouraged Moses to manage his responsibility better through delegation. Jethro also believed in his God, and supported Moses. Then in Ex 18: 27, it says that only Jethro was sent away and returned to his own country.. implying that Zipporah and his sons stayed with Moses... Unlike how it was depicted in the movie "The Ten commandments".. would u agree with my interpretation?
Tell them I am sent you.
The Pharoah of the Egypt was killing all the baby boys of the Hebrews because he was afraid of a Hebrew rebellion rising up. Moses' mother hid her son until he was about a toddler's age and then sent him off in the chance that he would live because she could no longer hide him.
