Joseph of Arimathaea.

Matthew 27:57-60New International Version (NIV)

57 As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. 58 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus' body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him.

59 Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away.

Jesus was laid to rest in the private and newly cut out (in the rock) tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. We are not able to positively identify it today although some have attempted to do so, and may well be close.

His body was not buried, it was placed in Joseph of Arimithea's tomb. A tomb is not a grave. Joseph was a man who had a pre-paid tomb that he owned for the purpose of his own burial when he would personally pass away. He was still alive when Jesus was crucified and donated the tomb to allow Jesus to be buried there. Jesus was resurrected and left the tomb three days later.

Jesus was crucified on Calvary/Golgotha. The same spot known as Mt Moriah.
Mt Moriah, the temple mount, and Calvary are all on the same limestone ridge, same mountain. Jerusalem is on this Mt, but Jesus was crucified outside the gate (wall).
This is also the same spot that Abraham was to sacrifice Isaac, but God provided a Ram. Mankind is destine to die and go to the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:11-15), but the Son of God, Jesus Christ offered Himself in our stead. But salvation is a personal thing and you need to accept Jesus as your Savior if you want to escape. John 14:6, " Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

After the crucifixion, Joseph of Arimathea (a secret disciple of Jesus) requested the body from Pilate and laid it in his own unused tomb (Matt. 27:57-60, Mark 15:43-46, Luke 23:50-53, John 19:38-42).
