The Boston Tea Party took place in Boston Harbor. The whole event was planned by "The Sons of Liberty" which was a group in Boston made up of some of the most famous patriots in the revolution. "The Sons of Liberty" and other patriots dressed up as Native Americans and dumped all of Britain's high-taxed tea into the harbor. FUN FACTS: The captain of the ship gave the keys to the patriots as long as they cleaned up the ship afterwerds.

∙ 14y agoThe Boston Tea Party took place in Boston Harbor, on Griffin's Wharf, which now no longer exists. The Intercontinental Hotel Boston (510 Atlantic Avenue) now occupies the spot where many historians believe that the tea was dumped. The site, which is on Boston's Downtown waterfront, is marked by a small plaque (photo is shown on http://www.boston-discovery-guide.com/boston-tea-party.com) on the north side of the building occupied by the garage next to the hotel.
