Ancient Egypt is most commonly known for being a desert. However; not all of Egypt was a dust bowl thanks to the Nile river. every year, its banks flooded, spilling fertile silt onto the farmland and enabling agriculture to be a main supporter of ancient Egypt's economy. This existence of farmland means that not all of Egypt was composed of sand dunes and dust, but also of flatlands and large hills.
