AnswerSan Marcelino Street in Manila. Japanese first invaded this place in the south of Manila. According to my grandmother's cousin, Japanese soldiers killed all the members of her family leaving her and her brother. They were all gathered in San Marcelino Church with other American soldiers. AnswerMy grandfather served on the USS Burleigh and off the island of Samar there was a ship riot. It was the black people vs white people, major mutiny. This probably doesn't answer your question, but it is a part of history worth researching.
