the fuel filter on the 92 topaz is located on the right inside fender, on the 90 it may be in the same place, if not you can follow the fuel line from the gas tank to the front of the vehicle and it should be visible.

If it is early 1990's the fuel filter is in engine compartment on right hand side if your looking undeer hood. It is a big silver thing mounted to the firewall. There is just 2 clips holding it on ( top and bottom) when you get new filter it will have these clips.
