Gene and Kathleen Lockhart were married in real life and their real daughter, June, played their daughter 'Belinda' in the film. She would grow up to play the mother on the Lassie television series.

"Miracle on 34th Street" (1947). Stars Maureen O'Hara, John Payne, Edmund Gwenn, Gene Lockhart, Natalie Wood, William Frawley.

This is the original pilot film of the 'Waltons' television series. It is the only Walton's story shot on location in the mountains with real snow. The cast is somewhat different from the series. The house is completely different (more realistic for the time).
