Yes there is, its not the same story as the PlayStation Final Fantasy but there is a game series titled Final Fantasy. They call it Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. There are only 2 games in the seiries as of Dec. 29 2010 Witch are Echoes of Time and The Chrystal Bearers. I got no clue how well EoT did but TCB did spectacular. One of the greatest games ive ever played.

Final Fantasy XIII... That's it

No, you cannot play PlayStation games on a Nintendo DS using an r4 card. There is no device that allows these games to cross play.

No, All final fantasy games are different. if you pick up final fantasy 7 and then get final fantasy 8, there's going to be a change in: characters, time zones, worlds, etc. the only real thing that's the same is the magic system. spells like fira, firaga, thundara, etc. are found throughout all the games. If you're new to final fantasy, i suggest you play final fantasy 7. it is the top rated ff in the world!Final Fantasy 7 has a storyline followed through by several games, on multiple platforms.Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-II are the only games in the series to be direct sequels; the 7Compilation is more of a focus shift.

Final Fantasy X-7? no. there is Final Fantasy 10-2 which is the sequel to Final Fantasy 10 (and is the only actual sequel in all of the final fantasy games) and there is Final Fantasy 7, but there is no Final Fantasy x-7. the games may be made by the same people but do not relate to each other in anyway other then the fact they are Final Fantasy.

yes. there is a 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10a,10b,11,12,13 13 is on PS3 1-9 is on PS1 the rest are on ps2 i don't know what other cosoles they are on. Check Gamespot.com <edit> Final Fantasy was originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, the original games were later remade for the Playstation.
