Tartic acid is present in sour milk. Generally the source of tartic acid is lemon, therefore sour milk gives taste of lime. Therefore it is clear that tartic acid is there. Sometimes when we want to make Paneer from milk, we put 1 or 2 miligram tartic acid to make milk separate from water.

No. A cow is milked, the milk is pasteurized, such and such, to make regular milk. Flavoring is added and you have chocolate milk.Sour milk would be like buttermilk with chocolate added. Not sure that flavor is on anyone's list!

On the milk bottle there should be an experation date. Some time after the experation date it shold go sour. But dont wait too long!!
