In my opinion two battles had the greatest impact on the outcome of Revolutionary War:
1 - Saratoga, because the victory of the Continental Army and the capture of a British Army convbinced France to intervene in the conflict on the American side.
2 - Yorktown, because the victory of the American-French allied army and the surrendering of Cornwallis' army made the British to give up further military actions against the 13 Colonies.

The manpower resource had the greatest impact on the outcome of the US Civil War. The population of able bodied men in the South, not including the slaves, was far smaller than that of the North. The Confederacy could not field the same size armies or maintain them with fresh levies as the Union was able to do.
This was a Revolutionary War Battle with little impact or importance. Two sidebars of the battle are worth mentioning: this is the battle that gave rise to the legend of Molly Pitcher and was the also where General George Washington court martialed General Charles Lee for disobeying orders
The shots were considered to be the beginning of the American Revolution, and the American Revolution had worldwide impact. The beginning events were "heard around the world" because of the eventual impact of what followed.
