There was never a Nintendo Wii. It was always a Wii. There was a Nintendo GameCube and a Nintendo DS.
They wanted something that was short, to the point, easy to pronounce, and distinctive.

Nintendo, the company is older than the N64 by almost 100 years, but if you're talking about the NES, the NES is older than the N64 by 11 years.

How do you get link to the past on project64?
You can't. Project64 is a N64 emulator, and thus you can't get A Link to the Past (a SNES game) on it. You should try downloading a SNES emulator.
Can you play SNES games on Game Boy Color?
No. While it is technically possible, Nintendo (or anyone else for that matter) have not released an adapter to allow this. There is a new console out now called the FC Twin that has slots for both NES and SNES and can play both. Hope this helps.
