The motherboard
The computer architecture is concerned with how the CPU acts and uses the computer memory.
John von Neumann in the 1940's described the idea of a computer architecture with a CPU (central processing unit) executing computer instructions from the same memory that also stored computer data.
The computer has been improved by increasing its capacity to process and store data. This is by improving its CPU clock cycle and adding more memory.
CPU input units output units and primary memory
The major difference between main memory and auxiliary memory is that main memory is directly accessed by CPU but the auxiliary memory is not accessed by the CPU directly. For this the data is first transferred to main memory from auxiliary memory and then from main memory the data is transferred to the CPU for further processing. the main memory is the central storage unit of the computer system. it is relatively large and fast memory used 2 store the programs and data during the computer operation.main memory communicates directly with the CPU. main memory includes RAM and ROMs. devices that provide backup storage are known as auxillary memory. auxillary memory are relatively slow in comparision to the main memory. auxillary memory includes flash memory, magntic disks and floppys. main memory is located inside the CPU but auxillary memory is located out the CPU. the main memory is the central storage unit of the computer system. it is relatively large and fast memory used 2 store the programs and data during the computer operation.main memory communicates directly with the CPU. main memory includes RAM and ROMs. devices that provide backup storage are known as auxillary memory. auxillary memory are relatively slow in comparision to the main memory. auxillary memory includes flash memory, magntic disks and floppys. main memory is located inside the CPU but auxillary memory is located out the CPU.
Cache memory is built into the central processing unit, commonly known in short as the CPU, or it can be located on a separate chip next to the CPU. In other sense, cache is located between CPU and Main Memory in the memory hierarchy of a computer system. just type allinurl:cache memory, in Google search and you will find your answer with more pictures and a lot more about cache memory.
A desktop saves memory in the CPU. When one wants to access information, the random access memory, or RAM, is used. The amount of memory a computer has depends on the size of the CPU.
The motherboard is the typical part of the computer that contains the CPU, the memory, and controllers.

A CPU is internal.Edit:It also has nothing to do with the computer memory category.

Internal memory (RAM)
if you mean processor then cache memory if you mean computer then ROM
