Yes, during the moon's daytime you can see stars, provided that you don't look too close toward the extremely bright sun. The moon's day lasts half an earth month, and the lack of atmosphere on the moon means that daylight is not diffused throughout the sky as it is on earth. There may also be formidable earth light to deal with too, if you are on the earth-side of the moon. Night time on the moon must be spectacular beyond belief. One day, you may see the sky from there.
