To remove the radio from the 1990 Lexus ES250, first pry the face plate from the dashboard. Then remove the clips that hold each side of the radio. Then, remove the wires to release the radio.
Radio aids to navigation.

The cruise and radio switches do not share a common fuse.
If you do not have it written down in the owner's manual, you need to contact a LEXUS DEALER. You will more than likely need the serial# off the radio. That will require removing the radio. Check with Lexus to b sure.
Yes a fuse is one possible cause.
Best bet is to go to an Audi/VW dealership, and have them reset the radio by using a VAGCOM. The other option would be to purchase a VAGCOM yourself (http://www.ross-tech.com/). Of course if you have the actual reset code, you can enter it in manually. I can't tell you specifically how to enter it on the Audi radio, since I have an Audi Navigation system, and the controls are different. But it should be a combination of using Volume and Seek (or other keys the would allow for scrolling) to enter in the code.
When your radio doesn't work in your 2002 Lexus ES 300 it could be a fuse or a wire. You should take your car to a automotive professional.
Doyou mean LS400 lexus? The amplifier is integrated with the radio that power the speakers. Be aware that removing the radio on a LEXUS it may not work afterward because of a memory code installed into the radio to make inpossible to steal it.
When you hear the navigation instructions, you can simply use the radio volume knob to increase or decrease the navigation volume. If you want to mute the navigation volume, push the "mute" button in the midst of audio navigation instructions.
